PPSU Polyphenylene Sulfone

PPSU (Polyphenylsulfone Resin) is an amorphous polymer, also known as polyphenylsulfone, which is easy to color and process. Its thermal deformation temperature can reach 196 ℃. It can withstand over 1000 cycles of steam sterilization at 134 ℃ without any significant loss in performance. Polyphenylsulfone resin (PPSU) has no melting point and amorphous properties, with a tensile strength of up to 70MPa (10152psi).

Polyphenylene sulfone (PPSU) has high transparency, high hydrolytic stability, excellent rigidity and toughness, high temperature resistance, heat oxidation resistance, excellent creep resistance, corrosion resistance to inorganic acids, alkalis, and salt solutions, ion radiation resistance, non toxicity, good insulation and self extinguishing properties, and is easy to shape and process. Its products can withstand repeated steam disinfection.

 

Application Area

Widely used in aerospace, medical equipment, electronic appliances, household appliances, automobiles and other fields.

In the aerospace field, PPSU can be used to manufacture aircraft components, satellite components, etc. Its high heat resistance, high strength, and dimensional stability can meet the special requirements of aerospace.

In the automotive field, PPSU can be used to manufacture automotive engine components, fuel system components, brake system components, etc. Its excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance can improve the performance and lifespan of automobiles.

In the medical field, with its excellent chemical corrosion resistance and non-toxic characteristics, PPSU can be used to manufacture medical devices such as infusion tubes, blood dialyzers, syringes, etc.

At the same time, PPSU, as a food grade plastic, can also be used for the preparation and reheating of hot meals. Especially suitable for high-voltage components, the high-voltage components made with it exhibit excellent dimensional stability. Within the temperature range of -50 ℃ to+160 ℃, it can still maintain good mechanical properties, electrical insulation, high heat aging resistance, excellent fire resistance, as well as good resistance to chemical corrosion and hydrolysis.
