ETFE carbon fiber conductivity

ETFE carbon fiber conductive material is a composite material made by adding carbon fiber reinforcement material to ETFE resin, which has conductive properties.
  • Detailed Description

Basic Characteristics
‌Conductivity stability: The addition of carbon fiber improves the conductivity of the material, but the resistivity is still higher than that of metal materials;
Mechanical strength: After carbon fiber reinforcement, the composite material has both high modulus and wear resistance characteristics;
Environmental resistance: able to withstand high temperatures and chemical corrosion, suitable for industrial environments.  ‌

Conductive Mechanism
Carbon fiber itself has semiconductor properties, and its conductivity comes from the layered structure formed by covalent bonds between carbon atoms, which can transfer charges. When carbon fiber is combined with ETFE resin, the composite material retains the lightweight advantage of carbon fiber and enhances the conductivity stability through the dielectric properties of the resin.  ‌

Application Area
‌This material is commonly used in fields that require a combination of conductivity and lightweight, such as:
Electronic component packaging: used in scenarios such as circuit boards, battery packaging, etc. that are sensitive to weight and require conductive support;
Electromagnetic shielding: reducing electromagnetic interference in electronic devices;
Industrial components: Conductive structural components that are resistant to chemical corrosion and high temperatures.  ‌
