Product Details

FEP Perfluoroethylene Propylene

FEP material (fluorinated ethylene propylene copolymer) is a high-performance fluoroplastic with excellent chemical inertness, high and low temperature resistance (-200 ℃~205 ℃), electrical insulation, and non adhesiveness. It is widely used in chemical, electronic, medical and other fields. ‌‌
  • Detailed Description

Characteristic‌

Chemical composition: FEP is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoropropylene, and its trade name includes Teflon ®  FEP, also known as perfluoroethylene propylene (F46). ‌‌

Physical properties: Density 2.15g/cm ³, crystalline melting point 304 ℃, continuous use temperature range -200 ℃ to 205 ℃. ‌‌
The dielectric constant is low (2.1), and the mechanical strength is higher than that of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), but the operating temperature is about 50 ℃ lower than PTFE. ‌‌

‌Application Area ‌
‌Industrial field: chemical pipeline lining, wire and cable insulation layer, semiconductor injection molded parts, etc. ‌‌
Electronic technology: Micro electronic packaging (such as LED brackets), micro nano pattern preparation in nanoimprint technology. ‌‌
Special materials: After composite modification, they can be used in high-frequency breakdown, thermal management and other scenarios (such as FEP/AlN composite materials). ‌‌
