Characteristic
PES has excellent heat resistance, flame retardancy, hydrolysis resistance, chemical resistance, impact resistance, creep resistance, as well as the advantages of continuous use at high temperatures and stable performance in environments with rapid temperature changes.
Hydrolysis resistance: It can withstand hot water or steam at 150-160 ℃ and is not corroded by acid or alkali at high temperatures.
Impact resistance: It has the same impact resistance as polycarbonate. Unreinforced resin can be riveted.
Flame retardancy: It has self extinguishing properties and excellent flame retardancy without adding any flame retardants, reaching UL94V-0 level (0.46mm).
Chemical resistance: PES is resistant to gasoline, engine oil, lubricating oil and other oils, as well as cleaning agents such as Freon.
Application Area
Widely used in fields such as electronics and electrical appliances, mechanical engineering, automotive transportation, medical equipment, aerospace, hot water, etc.
In the field of electronic appliances: coil frames, potentiometer housings and bases, hair dryer parts, printed circuit boards, button switches, insulators for thyristors, insulators for electric tool motors, coil frames for printers, blowers, relays, DIP switches, various types of connectors, etc.
Mechanical field: levers, handles, brackets, etc. for various machines, observation glass for X-ray devices, insulators for chainsaws, agricultural machinery engines and vaporizers, piston rings, heat-resistant ball bearings, gears, copier parts, camera parts, projector parts, industrial hair dryer covers, automotive air conditioning parts, handles for arc welding guns, various analytical instrument components, etc.
In the automotive field: bearing retainers, brake shaft bushings, ignition noise eliminators, engine gears, carburetor coil frames, fog lamp reflectors, thrust rings, etc.
